A good and healthy vegan ice cream can be made from even a single ingredient. Yes, I was also surprised to find out this and my curiosity made me discover many other really delicious combinations.

If you are also trying to avoid commercial ice cream as much as possible, which contains an exaggerated amount of refined sugar, then you will be amazed at how easily you can make the best vegan ice cream yourself. Contains only natural ingredients, no refined sugar and no dairy!

Two ingredients are the basis of the best vegan ice cream: bananas and coconut milk (wholemeal, obtained by cold pressing the core). With these two natural and healthy ingredients you can make absolutely any vegan ice cream, depending on your preferences.

We have already tried some simple combinations of vegan ice cream and these are our favorites. We hope you like it too.

The simplest vegan ice cream: the one-ingredient one

You only need one ingredient: bananas. To get the best ice cream you have to choose bananas that already have a few brown spots on the skin, because they will give a special sweetness. All you have to do is peel the bananas, cut them, put them in a resealable bag and leave them in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

The simplest part is just now: put the frozen bananas in the food processor and mix them until you get a creamy texture. If necessary, you can add a little vegetable milk or water to make the robot's work easier. And so! In 5 minutes, the simplest and healthiest vegan ice cream with one ingredient is ready. No refined sugar and no dairy! We really like it, so we are waiting for you with impressions after you try it.

Vegan ice cream with mango

Mango ice cream is my favorite, but every time I tried various assortments on the market they seemed too sweet. So I looked for a lot of combinations, until I came across the best vegan mango ice cream.

Ingredients for two servings:

2 ripe and frozen bananas

2 diced and frozen mango fruits

1 tablespoon natural almond butter (optional)

stevia rebaudiana (if you prefer ice cream to be sweeter).

Mix all the ingredients in the food processor until you get a creamy mango ice cream.

Raw vegan chocolate ice cream with baked hazelnuts

Chocolate ice cream should be creamy and with an intense chocolate taste. It is not like that? If you love chocolate ice cream, you should try this combination, which will make you forget about any ice cream on the market.

Ingredients for two servings:

300 ml of whole coconut milk or organic coconut cream

133 grams of coconut sugar

57 grams of cocoa powder

1 teaspoon top with sea salt

170 grams of dark chocolate without sugar and milk

a fistful of ripe and crushed hazelnuts

Water, coconut sugar, coconut milk, cocoa and sea salt are put on low heat in a saucepan, stirring with a whisk to blend everything. Remove from the heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring again to dissolve. After the composition has cooled, leave it in the fridge and then put it in an ice cream maker, following its instructions.

Vegan ice cream on a stick

Ingredients for two servings:

1 dark chocolate, with over 80% cocoa (without milk and sugar)

chopped pistachios or mix of chopped walnuts / almonds / hazelnuts

Cut the bananas in half and place them on ice cream sticks. Put in a bag and leave in the freezer overnight.
Melt the steamed chocolate and pass the frozen bananas through it. Garnish the ice cream with coconut flakes, chopped pistachios, chia seeds or a mix of nuts. Put ice cream in a saucepan or bag and keep in the freezer.

First, grow the vanilla pods lengthwise and carefully remove all the vanilla seeds you will need later. Then put the whipped cream to boil, over low heat, along with the vanilla pods and the recommended amount of sugar, stirring slowly until the sugar is completely dissolved.

In a large bowl, beat the yolks, then pour the sweetened cream into the same bowl, gradually incorporating it. Finally, strain the mixture obtained, to remove the pods and obtain a fine consistency. Then add the vanilla beans and leave the ice cream in the freezer for at least two to three hours before serving.

Raw vegan recipe: Coconut and rose ice cream

As I said above about the ingredients, I used dried rose petals in this recipe. They are small, delicate and very fragrant. You can find edible dried rose petals or buds at health food stores or Plafar.

First of all, break the coconut with a hammer, or as you know better, I broke it with the back of the blade from a thicker knife.

For a more beautiful texture, you can keep the rose petals in the composition. If you don't like the idea, then strain the coconut milk and throw away the used rose petals. I left them in the composition and I really liked them!

Pour the coconut milk together with the rose petals over the coconut in the blender, add the maple syrup, rose water and beet powder. As I said, beet powder is optional, it does not influence the final taste of ice cream, but only gives a pleasant natural color. Blend the mixture for another 2 minutes and you are ready. You will get a mixture of the consistency of a liquid cream. (Consistency also depends on coconut and rose petals). Pour the composition into a saucepan and close it tightly and put it in the freezer for 2 hours. After 2 hours, remove the casserole and mix vigorously with a fork. Then repeat the operation every hour, 3 times.
If you have an ice cream machine, solve everything much faster and more pleasantly.

However, in the end, my ice cream still made needles, I had to keep it at room temperature for 10 minutes so that it softened slightly and I could mix it again. Because it is vegan, this ice cream has a slightly different consistency, but very pleasant.

Put generous ice cream balls in bowls (you can afford it, it's just vegan ice cream! Sprinkle a few dried rose petals on top. Or. You can put chopped pistachios.
